More Details on Our Top Picks
Samsung White Top Load High-Efficiency Smart Washer and Dryer Pair, 4.5 Cu Ft Washer, 7.4 Cu Ft Dryer
This Samsung set stands out for combining a sizable 4.5 cu. ft. washer with a powerful 7.4 cu. ft. dryer, offering a balanced mix of capacity and smart features. Unlike the simpler Kenmore or bundle options, its Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote cycle management and alerts, making it ideal for busy households that value automation. While the smart control adds convenience, it also means dependency on a Wi-Fi connection—something not all users may prioritize. The quiet operation and multiple cycle options support versatile laundry needs, but its bulkiness may pose challenges in smaller laundry rooms. Compared to the Samsung front load set, this top load configuration is easier to load and maintain but sacrifices some efficiency and cycle variety. Overall, this set is perfect for tech-savvy homeowners seeking large capacities with remote control capabilities and minimal fuss.
Pros:- Wi-Fi Smart Control for remote monitoring and alerts
- Large capacity supports bulky and multiple loads
- Quiet, balanced operation with multiple cycle options
- Includes essential installation accessories
Cons:- Requires Wi-Fi connection for full smart features
- Bulkiness may be problematic in tight spaces
Best for: Families who want large loads and remote cycle control with smart home integration
Not ideal for: Small apartments with limited space or residents without reliable Wi-Fi
- Washer Capacity:4.5 cu ft
- Dryer Capacity:7.4 cu ft
- Features:Wi-Fi Smart Control, Multiple moisture sensors, Quick Wash, Bedding, Delicates, Heavy Duty, End-of-Cycle Signal
- Includes:Dryer vent, Power cable, Two water hoses
- Protection Plan:12-Month CPS Protection
Our verdict“This set is best for tech-minded households needing large capacity and remote control, despite its size and Wi-Fi dependency.”
Kenmore 4.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with Triple Action Impeller
This Kenmore washer is designed for those prioritizing effective cleaning with minimal fuss, featuring a Triple Action Impeller that outperforms basic agitator models. Compared to the smart-enabled Samsung options, it lacks connectivity but offers proven cleaning performance and a range of wash cycles, including Express Wash for quick results. Its 4.5 cu. ft. capacity suits medium-sized loads, but it doesn’t accommodate the largest bulky items as easily as a 5.2 cu. ft. model. The soft-close lid enhances user experience, yet the absence of smart features might deter tech enthusiasts. For users who want reliable cleaning without extra tech, this model delivers solid value, though it may come at a higher price point than similarly equipped basic washers. This pick is ideal for consumers seeking effective, straightforward cleaning with a focus on performance over connectivity.
Pros:- Effective cleaning with Triple Action Impeller
- Multiple wash cycles and temperature options
- Quick wash features save time
- Soft-close tempered glass lid for ease of use
Cons:- No smart connectivity features
- Potentially higher cost compared to basic models
Best for: Homeowners seeking dependable cleaning performance and quick wash options
Not ideal for: Those looking for smart features or the largest load capacities
- Capacity:4.5 cu ft
- Impeller:Triple Action Impeller
- Cycles:10
- Temperature Options:4
- Special Features:Express Wash, Accela Wash, Cold Clean, Soft Close lid
Our verdict“Ideal for users who prioritize cleaning performance and convenience over smart features or maximum capacity.”
Samsung Black Top Load Smart 4.7 Cu. Ft. Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer Laundry Pair
This Samsung black laundry pair combines a 4.7 cu. ft. top load washer with a 7.4 cu. ft. dryer, both featuring smart connectivity for remote cycle control. Compared with larger capacity sets like the 5.2 cu. ft. pair, this option suits households with moderate load sizes but offers the advantage of sleek styling and easy remote management. Its smart app compatibility enables remote start, alerts, and cycle monitoring, though some users may find the app’s limitations or need for updates inconvenient. The inclusion of essential accessories simplifies installation, but limited details on cycle options could restrict flexibility. This set is well-suited for style-conscious families who want modern features without the highest capacity, balancing form and function effectively.
Pros:- Smart connectivity for remote cycle management
- Large capacity handles bulky loads
- Sleek black finish adds style
- Includes essential installation accessories
Cons:- Requires compatible smart app for full features
- Limited cycle detail information
Best for: Design-conscious households wanting smart control in a stylish black finish
Not ideal for: Large families with heavy or bulky loads needing maximum capacity
- Washer Capacity:4.7 cu ft
- Dryer Capacity:7.4 cu ft
- Color:Black
- Includes:Dryer vent, power cable, water hoses
- Protection Plan:1 Year CPS Protection
Our verdict“Best suited for style-focused households desiring smart features and moderate load capacity without going for the largest set.”
Samsung 5.2 cu ft Top Load Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer Laundry Pair
This Samsung 5.2 cu. ft. set balances large capacity with smart connectivity, making it suitable for larger households or those doing frequent heavy loads. Compared to the 4.7 cu. ft. pair, it offers more room for bulky items and bigger families, plus remote control and cycle alerts that enhance convenience. The stainless steel tubs ensure durability, and multiple wash cycles support a variety of fabrics. However, while it boasts smart features, it doesn’t include some of the more advanced options found in premium bundles, and its pricing may be higher. If large capacity combined with remote features is your goal, this set offers a reliable solution, though it may be overkill for smaller households.
Pros:- Large 5.2 cu ft capacity for bulky loads
- Smart features for remote monitoring and alerts
- Durable stainless steel tubs resist chips and odors
- Multiple wash cycles for diverse fabrics
Cons:- No detailed price info available
- Requires compatible mobile device for smart features

Not ideal for: Singles or couples with limited space or infrequent laundry needs
- Washer Capacity:5.2 cu ft
- Dryer Capacity:7.4 cu ft
- Color:White
- Features:Smart monitoring, multiple wash cycles, sensor dry
Our verdict“Best for larger households seeking sizeable loads combined with remote smart control, with some consideration for space and budget.”

However, the dependency on Wi-Fi for full functionality might be limiting for some users, and the overall cost can be higher than buying non-smart units separately. While its larger size and advanced features can be a plus, they may require more space and familiarity with tech for optimal use. Compared to the more basic Midea pair, Samsung’s set offers greater efficiency and durability, but at a higher price and space requirement.

The inclusion of matching pedestals adds height for easier loading and extra storage, a feature not found in most other bundles like the basic Midea sets. Its energy-efficient operation and complete bundle with accessories simplify setup and daily use. This Midea set offers a slightly smaller capacity, with 3.9 cu ft for washing and 6.7 cu ft for drying, making it better suited for smaller households or spaces. Its 8 cycles and 4 temperature settings provide enough flexibility for everyday laundry, and the included 12-month CPS plan adds peace of mind. Compared with the larger capacity models like the Samsung or other Midea bundles, this set emphasizes affordability and simplicity, but sacrifices some capacity and advanced features.
